What happens to my goalscorer bet if the player goes off injured? If the player you’ve bet on enters the field of play, they’re deemed to have had the opportunity to score a goal and all bets on such player will stand. For example, if Harry Kane gets injured and has to come off the pitch in the second minute, the bet will be settled as a loser if he didn’t score during the time he was playing. In the case of first goalscorer bets, if your player enters the field of play after the first goal has been scored, the bet will be made void, as the player did not have the opportunity to score first.
