What's a goal line bet? A goal line bet gives you the opportunity to predict how many goals there will be in a game. If you bet on over 2.5 goals, there would need to be three or more goals in the game for the bet to be a winner. Likewise, if you bet on under 2.5 goals, you’d need two or less goals in the game for the bet to be a winner. The same logic applies to bets displayed in quarters, which are known as quarter-ball bets. In this case, if you bet on over 2.75 goals in a game, your stake is split between over 2.5 and over three goals. If there are three goals in the game, half your bet will be a winner (the 2.5 part). If there are four goals in the game, both halves of your bet will be winners.
