Boxing General rules *Bets will be settled on the result as declared in the ring immediately after the fight. Any revisions made after the ring declaration will not count for settlement purposes.* In the event of a wrong result being read out in error, bets will be settled on the corrected result.* If the fight does not take place as scheduled and is not played on the same date (local time) all bets are void. Exceptions are: 1) if we advertise an incorrect start time and 2) if we set up a fight using an expected date before the exact date is known. Once an official announcement is made regarding the fight date the fight will be corrected to the official date and will then be subject to normal rules.* In the event of a boxer being substituted, bets on the original contest will be void.* If a no contest is declared, all bets will be void unless the result of the market has already been determined. Market rules FT Winner/3 Way Winner (aka Fight winner) * Predict the boxer who will win the fight. If the fight is declared as either a draw or technical draw (both defined below) and no draw price is quoted, all bets on this market will be void. Fight goes distance * Predict whether the fight will go to the end of the scheduled number of rounds. If the number of scheduled rounds is changed after bet placement, the bet will be void. Method of victory * Predict by what method the fight will be decided.* If for any reason the number of rounds in a fight is changed then bets already placed will be void and stakes returned. Method Description Draw/technical draw Draw is scorecard draw. technical draw is if the referee stops the fight before the start of the 5th round, for any reason other than knockout, technical knockout or disqualification and results in all bets being void. Knockout/technical knockout Knockout is when the boxer does not stand up after a 10 count. Technical knockout is the 3 knockdown rule or if the referee steps in. Any corner retirement will be considered a technical knockout unless the fight is subsequently decided by the judges’ scorecards, or is a declared a no contest. Technical decision Decision is on scorecard points between the judges. Technical decision is settled by the judges’ scorecards at any time other than at the end of the scheduled rounds. In the event of a technical decision before the end of the fight all markets that can be settled as decision will be settled as decision. Round or Group of Rounds Betting * If for any reason the number of rounds in a fight is changed then bets on round betting already placed will be void and stakes returned.* For betting purposes betting on rounds or groups of rounds is for a fighter to win by KO, TKO or disqualification during that round or group of rounds. In the event of a Technical Decision before the end of the fight all bets will be settled as a win by Decision. What Round Will Fight End/When Will the Fight End * If for any reason the number of rounds in a fight is changed then bets already placed will be void and stakes returned.* For betting purposes ‘Fight To Go The Distance’ participant covers the bout being decided by Points, or ending in a Draw after the scheduled number of rounds.* In the event of a Technical Draw or Technical Decision being declared, then settlement of both markets will be based on the final completed Round. Round betting * Predict which boxer will win the fight and during which round the fight will end. If a boxer fails to emerge from his/her corner for the start of any round, the fight is deemed to have ended in the previous round. FT OU Rounds (aka Total rounds) * If for any reason the number of rounds in a fight is changed then bets already placed will be void and stakes returned.* For settlement purposes where a half round is stated then 1 minute 30 seconds of the respective round will define the half to determine under or over. In the case of Women’s Boxing and 2 minute rounds over 1:00 will define the half of the round. For example: Over 90 seconds into the 7th round of a boxing fight will equal Over 6.5 rounds.* If a boxer fails to emerge from his/her corner for the start of any round, the fight is deemed to have ended in the immediately previous round. Round group betting * Predict which boxer will win the fight and in which specific group of rounds the fight will end.* If a boxer fails to emerge from his/her corner for the start of any round, the fight is deemed to have ended in the previous round.* In the event of a technical decision being declared, then settlement will be based on the final completed Round. Fight outcome * Predict which boxer will win the fight and by what method the result will be decided. Selections are as follows: Knockdown Betting * For settlement purposes a knockdown is defined as a fighter being KO'd or receiving a mandatory 8 count (anything deemed a slip by the referee will not count). Method Description Knockout/technical knockout/disqualification Knockout (KO) is when the boxer does not stand up after the referee’s mandatory count. Technical knockout (TKO) is the three-knockdown rule or if the referee steps in to end the contest. Any corner retirement will be considered a TKO unless the fight is subsequently decided by the judges’ scorecards or is declared a no contest Decision/technical decision Result is determined by scorecard points from the judges at any time Draw/technical draw Draw is scorecard draw at the end of the scheduled number of rounds. A technical draw occurs if the referee stops the fight before the start of the fifth round, for any reason other than knockout, technical knockout or disqualification Glossary Term Description Bet(s)/betting means each bet placed by you using your account and accepted by us via our app/website. The term ‘betting’ shall be construed accordingly. Settle means the outcome of any bet, including (if applicable) us paying winnings into your account balance if a bet settles in your favour. The terms ‘settled’, ‘settles’ and ‘settlement’ shall be construed accordingly. Void means where a benefit or action of your account is made null and void by us. This includes but is not limited to when a bet is cancelled following acceptance, where winnings are cancelled following settlement, or where a reward or bonus is cancelled at any time, in all such circumstances for any valid reason as specifically set out in any game terms or the sport rules.
