How do I use Face ID? What’s Face ID? Face ID is the way of unlocking your iPhone without needing a fingerprint scanner. Your face is used as the key to unlock your device. What devices can this be used on? Face ID is an Apple feature and is only available on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR and iPhone X. How do I set up Face ID? If you didn’t opt to use Face ID when first setting up your iPhone, you’ll need to enable it within the settings of your device. Go to Settings > Face ID & passcode > Set up Face ID and follow the instructions. How do I enable Face ID for Virgin Bet? When you open the app for the first time, there will be a tick box underneath where you enter your username and password. As displayed on the screenshot below, the box will state ‘Log in with Face ID’. Once you tick this and log in as normal with your username and password, the Face ID pop-up will display and allow you to log in with Face ID. The next time you open the app, you’ll be automatically logged in if Face ID recognises you. Do I need to use Face ID to log in? Not at all, you can still use your username and password to log in. Can I turn off Face ID just for this app? You can turn off the Face ID function for Virgin Bet via the 'Face ID & passcode' option within the settings of your device.
