Bets of this type predict which team or participant will win the market once the handicap has been applied. For example: Event Handicap selection Actual result Result after handicap applied Burnley vs Wolves Burnley -2 Burnley 4-1 Wolves Burnley 2-1 Wolves(Bet on Burnley to win wins) Chelsea vs Liverpool Liverpool +1 Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool(Bet on Liverpool to win loses) Handicap markets There are two types of handicap markets — two-way handicaps and three-way handicaps. The main difference is the three-way handicap market gives the option to predict whether an event will end in a draw once the handicap has been applied. A bet placed on a two-way handicap market can be settled as a push if the game ends as a draw once a handicap has been applied. For more information, see our general rules here.
