When an incident causes a long delay to a cricket match, overs may be reduced for both teams. Below, we explain how some of the popular markets may be affected.
- Bets will stand on the official result — as long as at least one ball has been bowled.
- All open bets on totals in a Twenty20 match will be void if the reduction is by three or more overs, and void in other limited-overs matches if the reduction is by five or more overs.
- In limited-overs matches, bets on innings runs will be void if there’s any reduction of overs, unless the result has already been determined.
- In limited-overs matches, bets on match runs will be void if there’s any reduction of overs in the match, unless the result has already been determined.
